In any hotel, there’s always that public comfort room which closely located at the receiving area or within the restaurant. Most of the hotels have their own restaurant installed within the building. Well, though the comfort rooms within this area might not appear as clean to you because most if not all, including the employees of the hotel are using this comfort room. But of course, from here you will notice if the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
Most of the time, visitors, before checking in, they are given the opportunity to select what rooms they want to avail. The receptionist will surely offer and accompany you to personally check their rooms. This is now your chance to inspect the cleanliness of such room.
First and foremost, check the comfort room. if in any case, there’s a single drop of water within the lavatory, for sure, this hotel is maintaining a high and quality standards when it comes to cleanliness. A defective lavatory or leak in some part of pipes is not excuse for the hotel not fix things right. Obviously there are well designed curtains in every window. Try to touch and flip those curtains as if you want to see the outside view, but your main purpose here is to distract those mosquitoes hiding in the curtains if there’s any. And, if you see one mosquito flew, for sure, the hotel is not also practicing the standards of cleanliness.
There are other things for to consider to determine the cleanliness of the hotel. If you are meticulous enough, you will easily spot those unfamiliar things within the room and in the comfort room. You should remeber that this type of business has standards and a very high standards so to speak. After all, you have all the riight to move to other hotels if you are not impressed with the first one.

hotel rooms are well furnished but it doensn’t guaranty there no bugs living in there. Som how do you know then that that particular room is clean and free from bugs. There are ways on howto detemrine if that particular room is clean or not.
The bed and the beddings are clean and well arranged, but try to peak under the bed and if you some unfavorable things in there, for sure, that room is not clean. Hotels are of the places where they use powerful vacum cleaner to make there are no such things that could trigger a client not to avail a room. Thus, they are doing there best to present each room the highes and cleanest appearance it should be to the occupant.
After checking the beds and the bedding, visit the confort room. Comfort rooms should be the cleanest part of every hotels. If in any case the confort room is wet or the lavatory faucet is linking, for sure that comfort room is not cleam. A clean comfort room should be free from any water drops. it should be dry in way that it seems no one has used or occupied the room for a week or months.
Every time I visited a hotel, the comfort room is the first place I am checking and I noticed a single drop of water or stain water drops on the lavatory and on the boul, I am requesting to another room and second room checking and the errors found in the first are also there, I will not occupy that room.
Hotels are being occuped with different individual we do not know what and which is which. This is why you need to inspect the cleanliness of every room most particularly the comfort room.

The Japanese has a very unique culture everyone should experience. If you are planning to visit Japan, I would like to recommend their Teshima Ryokan. It is a traditional Japanese hotel which will make feel to become Japanese too. Ryokan is a house type but a hotel for foreigners who prefer to stay here than those western style hotels. The best thing here is that Ryokan is far more cheaper than western hotels. Forgetting your western style and trying to be a Japanese during your stay here will make your stay more pleasant. Who knows, you might be motivated to learn Japanese language during your stay.
The experience you will get while staying in a Ryokan is one great tourist escapade already. Ryokan means house for the tourist.
